On ways of being true

Abstract There are many ways for truths to be true. How should we understand that idea? One is there different kinds of truth: the truth-like properties. Another understanding a truth can made true in ways, by entities. The former supports alethic pluralism. But latter understood as kind monism: existential property having some truthmaker or other. On this view, differences reside how true, but not its being I’ll discuss these two understandings differ and what potential advantages idea might be.
